In an era where sustainability has become a key priority for governments, businesses, and society, this course explores the relationship between law and sustainability, and how legal frameworks shape sustainability goals and outcomes. Designed for non-law undergraduate students, the course adopts a practitioner-focused approach and introduces legal concepts.
Through discussions, case studies, and applied exercises, students will examine how environmental regulations, corporate governance practices, and international legal frameworks influence sustainable business decisions. The course aims to broaden students' exposure to legal thinking and help them understand the role of law in advancing sustainability.
